CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

With my stats i was hoping to at least be an alternate...

Yeah, now i'm starting to panic about whether they even got my application... does anybody know who i can email about this?

I recieved the email for the interview :)

My stats are:

Pre-req GPA: 4.00

Gen.Ed GPA: 4.00

TEAS: 85%

Math: 91%

Remember alternates are chosen after the interviews. So don't give up just because you haven't receive an e-mail. :) There's still some...hope

I just got an interview.....I think its a mistake? I got denied from admissions...what do i do???

@Tiger07 don't they include who they choose as alternatives in the interview? As in they interview 120 and choose them from that pool?

I'm new to this website but I've been following it for months. I got my invite today! I'm really excited because CSULB is my #1 choice.

My stats:

overall gpa 3.76

science gpa 3.74

teas 92.7%

math 100%

I plan on making my appointment for my interview tomorrow. To those of you that are wondering if they will be sending out more emails, I don't know...I hope so.

@ST1004 I took my app directly to the nursing building. I handed it to a lady who worked there and told her it was my application to the bsn program.

Someone posted saying alternates are not chosen until after the interviews? Look on pg 24-25ish somewhere around there on this thread. I asked if alternates were also going to be invited to the interviews and that was the reply that I got...

But from past threads, if i remember correctly, it seems like some of the highest scoring alternates were invited to interviews. Which is why some people end up not having to interview if it's their second time applying.

perhaps BeachsideNic could clear this up for us...
