CSULA's ABSN program Summer 2019

Hello there!

I would love to start a thread of those applying for CSULA's ABSN program for summer 2019. I was hoping we could give each other some support and hopefully get to know each other a bit before starting school! I'm a little worried as I hear that the program is super competitive and I don't have many volunteer hours or experience. Is this a deciding factor in the decision process?

OMG seriously stopped breathing for a bit when I read that acceptance calls have started! So so incredibly nervous now! Congrats tho to those who have received calls!! So awesome!

I scared myself! I didn't get a voicemail, so I worried, and then couldn't reach her (most likely she was on the phone, making other people's day). It's all good, and I'm so excited for everyone!

Congratulations to those who’ve gotten in so far!!!! ?

I missed a call from her according to my family member, and there was no callback number. She said she’d call back, so I’m babysitting my phone now! ?

As far as titers go,I echo the sentiment that they should probably have been assessed several weeks ago. But it’s also not too late to get them started after you hear from the program. Just get on it as soon as you get the call.

@Smiles_34 You can leave the ‘checking allnurses every 15 minute to me.” Haha. If and when you and I get into the program, I’ll commiserate to/with you in person about how I/we should have saved more.

Can't wait to commiserate with you and plan our futures!!! Congrats ?
