hi HAS ANYONE APPLIED TO GENERIC BSN PROGRAM AT CSULA?
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE AVERAGE GPA THEY LOOK FOR, AND DO PEOPLE WITH HIGHER TEAS TEST SCORE GET IN THEN THOSE HAVING HIGHER GRADES. I APPLIED FOR FALL 2009 AND SHOULD HEAR IN JUNE I SUPPOSE BUT IJUST WAN TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE THEY ACCEPT AS IN THEIR GRADES AND TEST SCORES.
wow really??? I guess that's why they make you send them two self addressed envelopes. You're so lucky you got into a BSN program! I hope you get accepted to the school you want.
Thanks, I will be applying to like 9 community colleges for the spring of 09 if I dont get accepted to CSULA or CSUF. I'm still finishing Micro :/ Well atleast you both got accepted somewhere!
Thank you girls for all your help!!
i think its a 3.3? but i think they care mostly about prereq GPA. a bunch of friends of mine aren't getting accepted anywhere because they got a B in one of the sciences. i did not think i was going to get accepted so quickly. most people i know in nursing programs had to apply several times before being accepted, some as long as 4 years.

well i applied to nine schools in total both community colleges and universities. FOR BSN programs i applied to CSU channel islands- and got rejected and Mount St. Mary's but im on their waiting list. Bachelor programs are hard to get in but so are community colleges because they are lottery so far i got rejected from glendale community college and college of the canyons, but got accepted to cerritos college for fall 2009. The other schools i am waiting on are CSULA, LA COUNTY COLLEGE Of NURSING,PASADENA CITY COLLEGE, AND LOS ANGELES PIERCE COLLEGE. It is worth it too apply to community college becuase it gives you the opportunity for a backup and to start immediately if you dont get into a bachelors program. Honestly when you graduate from a bachelors program or community college nursing program you have the same title RN, and once you have your RN its way easier to get into a bachelors program---immediate acceptance
