  1. i took the WST at SJSU before I applied to transfer there and I'm hoping that they'd take the results for it...I'm going to ask tomorrow...i think its the same test, but different name
  2. So did you two just tell them that you've received your acceptance letters from the nursing department?
  3. oh. yeah, that's the number I called I'll ask again tomorrow. I emailed monalisa ward so hopefully she can get back to me on that.
  4. Is it just the same number to the office of admissions? I can't seem to find the number specifically for graduate admissions. Did you just tell them that you were already accepted by the program?
  5. I called the automated phone system and it said I was accepted but when I called again using the number levoila posted the person said I was provisionally admitted but I didn't have any missing documents. I called the nursing dept and they said that they wouldn't have sent the acceptance letters if my paper work wasn't complete. I'm still worried though...I haven't be able to log on to mycsulb at all...or received any mail oh goodness... For those that live nearby...where's a good place to live (area/ apartment recommendations)??
  6. hopefully you guys are waitlisted or get in for spring 2010!! good luck! the deadline to accept fall just passed (last wed--may 13th)...so you may hear from them soon...i decided to decline and go to csulb...so that's one spot :)
  7. yea..i called them about that...plus the application i sent was for the grad program. i guess i'll just call tomorrow. thanks :)
  8. nope, just letters about it moving on to the nursing dept...but my letters said it was for second bachelor's degree. did yours say that?
  9. Is the contingency contract suppose to say "I accept the CSULB's BSN program offer..."? Do we need to do anything for the University (deposit?)?
  10. Hi! I just got my letter from csulb...a few hours before I mailed my deposit for csula. What have you heard about the el-msn program? I just applied to try and i really didn't think i'd get in anywhere so I figured whoever takes me i'll go...hahaha...
  11. I don't really know a lot of people who applied. The letter came in the envelope that I put in with my application. It was small. Just two sheets...the letter and the form to accept the spot. Waiting really sucks...I'm actually still waiting on two other schools. I hate how you have declare the intent to register and give a deposit, but its better to be safe so yeah. Honestly, i didn't think my points were good enough. I just wanted to try state before I tried private and out of state schools. I applied to CSUCI but I didn't get in. Community Colleges are pretty difficult if they're lottery (700+ applicants). A lot of people say private schools are the fastest way in, but that's too costly for me.
  12. OH MY!! I'm glad you were able to sort things out with them. I don't go to CSULA...just applied...I have to turn in a deposit for Fall. I believe the deadline for the deposit is on the 15th and the letter said we had to accept by the 13th. So hopefully you'll know soon :)
  13. thanks Don't worry your letter is probably on its way. My pre-req gpa was 3.57, overall 3.64, teas was 92% (rdg 95/ eng 89/1). I tallied my points and it was 23/31. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!!!
