CSULA Fall 2013 Basic BSN hopeful

I wanted to start a thread for students who are applying to CSULA fall 2013 traditional BSN program. Anyone already applied and as anxious as I am to hear the news in April? And if there are any current csula nursing students stumbling on this thread, please share your experiences, tips, or warnings.

Got a call from the offices telling me I was accepted :) and that they mailed out the acceptance letters today. You should hear early next week

Oh my gosh, I have 27 points too! But I haven't heard anything from them yet :( Ugh, the suspense.....:nailbiting: I wonder if they really just look at the points?

But congratulations tooleyt!! :) Hopefully we will all get in!!

Ugh check your mail guys! I got mine this week.

They said they didn't receive my transcripts oh boy -______-

I heard CSULA is known for "not receiving transcripts"

hello all hopefuls!

I am currently a basic BSN student at CSULA. I remember being in your shoes last year. Waiting was horrible, but be patient. They will get to you all eventually. I totally understand you guys are all freaking out. Check your spam mail. It could be in there. It was for me last year. Best of luck to you all!

thanks for the update guys! still haven't heard anything yet :/ I get so nervous everytime I go to check my mail or my email. sigh i hope this is over soon!!!

@nursinghopeful23: I'm sorry to hear that you got that letter :/ have you tried contacting the nursing office to clear that up? did you send your transcripts through mail? i wish you the best of luck in other school you have applied :) im sure you wont have the same problem with other schools

Anyone try to call SON for updates? I tried calling today but couldn't get a hold of anyone.

I received the acceptance letter today. I am so happy now guys.:up:

and I had 27 points as well I think. Anyway good luck to everyone... the waiting part was the worst for me.
