CSULA Fall 2013 Basic BSN hopeful

I wanted to start a thread for students who are applying to CSULA fall 2013 traditional BSN program. Anyone already applied and as anxious as I am to hear the news in April? And if there are any current csula nursing students stumbling on this thread, please share your experiences, tips, or warnings.

No, I have not heard from them yet. I'm going to send in my transcripts too.

From what I know, they don't require transcripts until you are accepted. I have a feeling they have every nursing student in completed status until the Nursing school accepts them (or denies :( ) anyways.. hope my 2 cents helps

I spoke to one of the admissions rep and he told me that we will either here from SON mid April or early may. So hopefully, we will know in less than 2 weeks! If anyone hears any news, please share! I'm pretty sure everyone is waiting on pins and needles right now. If you haven't yet, can everyone post their stats?

2 weeks seems so far away at this point! I had a question and was wondering if anyone can help me by answering it. I took my science courses at a school where they count lecture and lab separately. So if I were to receive a B on lecture (3 units) and an A (1 unit) in lab, how would they average that out? Hope someone can help me figure this out! :)

I don't know the answer to that question. But I'm sure if you email/call SON, they would answer you.

Has anyone heard anything back yet? Letters should have been sent out already, It's a little early for the mail to be here but I;m anxious already!

Haven't heard anything yet either :/ By looking at last year's forum, it seems like most students were notified around April 25th, and some until mid-May :/

Has anyone heard from admissions yet? I am a transfer student and my status on the student portal still says complete. I read last year's forum and students had to pay $100 deposit for their intent to enroll by May 1st.
