Anyone else applied? I know they're supposed to notify us on April 1st but I'm curious if anyone who applied got any feedback yet. :)
Woohoo Moto88 and bbdog!! Congrats to both of you and so happy for you! Can't wait to meet you both!
And I'm definitely still figuring out financial aid stuff out too, which is super confusing. I really need to call financial aid to figure out what specifically to do. Did anyone find a link specifically for graduate loans? All I see is for undergraduate. I was also advised to talk to my bank to see if I can get a better interest rate.
@Sam198-I am going to stay on an on-campus apartment for the summer quarter. The housing department said that was possible since the new contract starts in the fall. And the application comes out early April and so I will apply then.
Congrats Moto88!
Thanks Dewdrops & Rpatil88!
Say, did anyone hear back from Financial Aid? I called them a few times and always end up on hold, waiting for a representative for 20 minutes! Eventually I lose patience and just hang up, lol. Anyway, I was reading some posts from last year and saw something about filling out a form for summer aid, but don't know if that applies to this year. I also got an email from FA saying there's so missing info on my file, but when I check my "To Do List" on GET, there's nothing to do. Did anyone else get a similar email?
Ahhhh, I can't believe I'm going to be a poor graduate student in two months!

Congrats Moto88! Good work!! :)
Hey bbdog, I remember getting the same e-mail. But it said in the e-mail to disregard the e-mail if your to-do list doesn't have any to-do items on it. I had nothing on the list to do, so I didn't do anything. I hope that's right!!
I haven't received anything from Financial Aid yet, but I hope to get something soon so I can figure out all the loans stuff. I feel like I'm in the dark about everything.
Do you guys know if the apartments/dorms for the summer quarter include meal plans? Or is it just the apartment? It would be good to have some extra time to figure out where to live in case I can't find a place.
Bbdog- I have gotten through to someone on the phone and have talked to them through email. They said we should hear back After April 1st. Kathy gave me a direct email to them and they answered my questions and were able to confirm that I had a complete packet turned in with nothing "to do". You can email me if you want since you cant PM and I'll give you the email address and what they wrote :-) they are real quick about responding. I haven't checked if it's listed on the csula site.
Just got back from getting my blood test results, and I am immune to everything! Also, got my tetorifice shot.. OUCH. Feels good to be checking stuff off my to do list, but I still have so much to do!
Congrats to moto88 and everyone else that got in! I know I have said this a million times, but i can't wait to put faces to all these names. I'm going to be at the orientation asking for everyone by their all nurses name, lol. Anyone that is not a part of this group is going to look at me like I'm crazy!
@ Star15brite- I am totally with you, going to start calling out people by their allnurses usernames. It's going to be awesome!
And for financial aid, I got the email as well and I needed to send in a graduate status form that Professor Hinoki needed to sign for me and send to them. Then I had to send in a proof of citizenship and that is all I've heard from them so far. And I agree that calling them takes a lot of patience because you have to be on hold for at least 15 minutes. I'm going to see how much I get awarded then start calling them.
How many of you guys are having trouble looking for housing of your choice? I'm looking for a place to live by myself. Take a look at what one of the listings I sent an email to sent back to me (specifically at grammar and punctuation hahaha!):

Good luck to you moto88! you should hear back very soon. The absolute last day we had to tell Kathy of our decision was this Monday. My guess is that you would find out within a day or two after that.
