CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Oh and i forgot to mention that Florita also told me that if you got the letter of admission, send your transcripts right away because you only have 30 days to do it.

Hey guys! So I also called and they said to send your transcripts because of the 30 day time limit, but from how she sounded if you got the email you're probably in because she said they'll be sending out another email to confirm it so idk for sure but it sounded pretty hopeful to me!

Okay guys I can confirm if you got the email from before that we are accepted into the SON. I was turning in my transcripts and decided to stop by and double check. I am literally in their office on the 4th floor of Simpson tower. They said that the email we get in April is for reaffirmation. They congratulated me and sent me on my merry way. So, to everyone who got the email, congratulations!!

Do you guys know about how many students are accepted into the program each year?

The FAQ on the website says 70 students are accepted each year

When I first got the email I checked GET and it said "Admitted" in the student center under UGDR but now it says incomplete. Did this happen to anyone else? Perhaps it happened after I made the $100 deposit because now I have transcripts under the to-do list. What do your admissions say?

Do you guys know if I should be worried if I haven't received an email for anything?

Also sorry for another question. But do you guys remember how to login into the portal? Was there anything on the to do list that was important? Because I haven't been able to log in because I didn't know we got a pin. Or did we?

The PIN should have been emailed to you after you applied to Cal State LA-the main campus, not the SON application.

It also has the instructions on how to login to GET. Search your email mailbox for "PIN" in the subject.

Mine also says "Incomplete," but admittedly I did not know how to check that until this morning, so I do not know if it said something else previously.
