CSULA BSN FALL 2019

It may be a bit early, but I wanted to create this forum for all of us students who want to be accepted into CSULA's SON for Fall 2019. We can discuss the TEAS, pre-reqs, deadlines, points, CSU transfer procedures, etc. Let's do this!

Maybe I heard back sooner because I'm a second bachelors student who is part of graduate admissions... ?

Oh you applied to the MSN program not the BSN?

@cccddd I got it at 3:02am today. And I applied to the BSN program, not MSN

Called the nursing department and the lady said she doesn't think our portal would say "admitted" unless we were accepted into the program but to call admissions to be sure. Called admissions and they said acceptance emails will be sent this week. The girl otp made it sound like if your portal says "admitted" then you should be getting an email confirming that you got in. However she didn't want to give me a for sure answer on that until the acceptance email was received.... Anyways, just be on the lookout guys ?

Hey! I got the same exact email at the same time, and I am also a second bachelor's applicant! I know it says nursing program, but I was so paranoid that it actually means that we're just accepted into the school.. and not the program yet! ? It does say Fall 2019 admission to the Nursing program though... I didn't find out about it until after their office hours so I might call tomorrow morning to confirm!

I checked the GET portal and mine says "admitted" and shows to send transcripts in the to-do list too!!! I haven't received any emails though... I called the nursing department last week and I was told that if we are accepted into the university and the only major we applied for was nursing then that means we were also accepted into the program... Hopefully that's true! I'm freaking out!!!!

It seems like most of us on this forum got accepted. This is so exciting!!!!!

Are you guys waiting for the email before sending official transcripts, too?

Mine asked to turn in "final transcripts" but I already sent in official ones when I turned in the application ? I hope that I don't have to send them in again! The due date for my transcripts is 07/15 ? Is it the same for yours?

My due date for transcripts shows up as 04/12. I wonder why mine is sooner.?
