CSULA ABSN 2016

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread started for this yet so figured I should start one! I'm applying to CSULA's ABSN program for Summer 2016 and am about to submit my application in the next few days. Who else is applying? Figured we could all support each other and keep each other updated during this nerve-wracking process :)

I changed my major from therapy to nursing too. But I have been doing research since early last year to apply for ABSN program. I applied to CSULA csun csuf and CSUSM, but CSULA is my top pick coz I graduated from there.

I've applied to a bunch of CSUs, UCLA MECN, and MSMU. CSULA is my top choice because of the option to continue to the MSN after the pre-licensure portion! Are you guys planning to do your MSN after as well?

Yes, CSULA is my first choice because of the MSN option to become an NP. I think it's awesome that they offer it.

Since I submitted the application in person, I got the email about receiving the application the next day.

They sent me an email on Monday saying they received it and to be patient with the process.

Today is also the last day they are accepting applications that were postmarked for the 13th. It should be a little while longer to sort everything through.

I'm worried because I haven't received anything of the sort! I submitted mine by Priority Express and the tracking says it was delivered last Thursday morning. Is there a number or email I can contact to check? I've just been contacting the ABSN Graduate Assistant during my application process.

I just emailed the coordinator! Hopefully my application has been received and they just haven't gotten around to emailing me

I would email Cindy from the department ABSN and ask her about the application. Her email can be found on the department website for ABSN graduate site. I don't know last name.
