I accepted the ABSN program at CSUN. It's was SUCH a difficult decision. I really loved both programs, but made my decision based on cost and uncertainty regarding which NP track I would end up in. I'm not sure which NP track I want to take ultimately, so I figured a BSN would give me more time to figure that out.

Just so everyone on here knows, my own Nurse Practitioner went to CSULA and she's amazing! That says a lot about the program!

Congrats on the acceptance and decision to attend CSUN. I know a few folks feel like you do - they want to start with the RN and see where and when they want to move forward. Also - glad to hear you love your NP! Good luck in the program.

I also don't know for sure that I want the NP, but that was the beauty of being able to stop after the BSN portion, or take a break.

I got got an email on Sunday from her that there is an excellent chance I will get an offer this week. I'm going to talk to K on Wednesday. *fingers crossed*

I got the same email on Sunday. I am very on the fence about which school I want at this point, but I will speak to her, and IF I get accepted I will meet with financial aid and then decide. Good luck to you!
