40 for the traditional and the accelerated program I’m not sure about there LVN bridge program. The traditional way is new this fall 2022 so only 5-10 seats

The chances of getting in are 0.833333333 % that's 10 out of 1,200. But let's say 200 didn't complete the supplemental or/and aren't eligible for admission to the CSUF. That makes it 1% so one out of every hundred applicants would be chosen "Speaking only if they choose up to 10 students to enter ?." That's crazy! I would be beyond proud of myself and everyone else if we made it into the interview process ?

Let’s pray and hope we get that .83% chance

If there are only 5-10 seats and the traditional point system is used to determine admission, then I have no hope at all. My science GPA is 3.5 and cumulative is 3.88. No second language or medical background; however, I’m currently doing a CNA training program on the weekends so that I can work while waiting on nursing school. Additionally, Chem 3 and Stats 1 are in progress this semester, which in my opinion are among some of the easier classes I’ve taken. I have also applied to a few different ADN programs as well. Fingers crossed that I get accepted into a Fall program.

Yes!! Keep your opinions OPEN. This is my second round applying to programs. It’s OK to get denied it’s normal. California is so hard to get into any program.

CNA program will be amazing! I’ve been a CNA for a year and I’ve learned so much I’m glad I did it. Find a hospital job nursing homes are good but tough on your body. You learn more in the hospital too

Great advice! After I get my CNA license, will hospitals hire me without experience?

Right now. Everyone is in need of everything. New grad nurses are getting hired for ICU

Hey good morning you all! I am unable to view my portal today I am guessing they're making some changes to it and I am super nervous ? Anyone else can't log into it or is it just me?

I was able to login just now. No status change to report.

No status change for me as well. I saw a little bit of a change over the admission button but it was just an extra button to waitlist option right on top of register for orientation. I didn't have it on my file before but they just updated it for me. Hopefully, it's a good sign that they are gonna release decisions soon.

How tf are they choosing 10 spots from supposedly 1200 people?? That’s laughable

I just heard that one girl got denied an hour ago from the direct admit nursing. I have no clue if it's different than the one we are applying for "the UDT". However, just wanted you guys to know that the nursing school is realizing decisions already and we might also be receiving our decisions soon as well.
