CSUF Transfer-BSN Fall 2022

Published

Hey just submitted my application and was curious what everyone’s stats were…

Im still finishing up my last prereqs this semester but right now I have overall 3.93 GPA and about 3.69 GPA for sciences (1 B) and for TEAS I got 86.7 but might retake in december

I saw someone on another thread for CSUF fall 2022 nursing they got an email today saying they did not meet the Chemistry requirements. Not sure what that means for us but maybe we will hear back soon.

Hope we make it out of the rejection cycle. Haven't received any emails yet hope that is a good sign

Haven’t heard anything either

Does anyone here know more than one language? I wonder if that would give me more points on the multicriteria because I know two languages (one native and another proficient) would that give me 16 points total?  what do you guys believe?

I don’t know if you can change your points the supplement was due awhile ago …

You don’t get extra points for knowing more languages, max is 10points

Oh no I included both of my languages on the supplemental so they both are reported to the nursing school and the csuf admission office however IDK if it would mean that I would get more points

You don’t get extra points for more languages. But if your native you get the 10points

But that’s really cool your trilingual. They’ll definitely use you in the work setting

Yeah, I know a total of 3 languages and working on learning ASL this semester because I know that I would need them when communicating with a lot of people from different backgrounds and circumstances ? Hopefully they would look at it that way too LOL?

Truthfully. This is my second round of applying I know people who get in with 0 knowledge of other languages which is not fair in my opinion you have no idea how much I translate at my hospital

That is my first round and it's scaring me how many good applicants not getting placements at the programs with such high GPAs and a lot of points. I am scared too because I don't have any degrees in nursing just yet and I don't have experience in hospital settings either ☹️

If you have time and want to. You should look into CNA / EMT / MA / LVN it’s good experience for RN
