CSUEB fall 2013 acceptance

Published

Anyone on the edge of your seat waiting for these letters to come ??? This was the only university I applied to so I'm startling to get anxious !!! ?

Heyyy!!!

I too broke down yesterday before I saw your post and emailed ----------- about the waitlist. She said they were definitely into the middle third and still awaiting students replies, as all the spots have yet to be filled!!! That's good news, right? I don't know if the emails sent out to those already off the waitlist are time sensitive, I would hope they are so they can just keep working up the list! I'll be sending good vibes your way as well! :) Good luck!

:geek:

Hi again!!

I JUST received my acceptance for the Concord campus like three hours ago! I accepted and also requested to be placed for the Hayward campus if a spot opens. Hopefully you'll be hearing good news soon as well!! Good luck! I'm sooooo thankful! God is good all the time! :)

Heyyyy!!! Oh my god! Congratulations! I'm so jealous! Hopefully there are still enough spots for meeeeee!!! I thought they had a pattern going of only sending out emails on Fridays, but I guess that's not true!!! Question though, did your email say there were spots still available at both campuses? I am hoping for Concord if I get in, as I live literally 5 minutes away from that campus.

Again, congratulations, you deserve it!

Awwww thank you!!! And don't worry! Just stay positive! There's still hope! I have a good feeling that there are still spots open and that they're just meticulously going down the list. I'll be waiting to hear from you about your good news too. ;)

Here's a copy of the email I received just so you have an idea:

Hello,

A spot opened up on the CONCORD campus of the CSUEB Fall 2013 Pre-Licensure Nursing Program. Based on your position on our waitlist, you are now eligible for admission into our program. We would like to discuss with you the next steps of the process if you are interested in attending.

There will be a mandatory Nursing Orientation July 18 on the Concord Campus.

We require an email response of your decision either way.

DEADLINE TO RESPOND IS FRIDAY, JULY 12 AT 12:00 P.M.

(1) IF YOU ACCEPT OUR OFFER, email [email protected] and say you accept. At this time, only a spot on the Concord campus is available. **If you accept, you will be placed at the Concord campus. If you prefer the Hayward campus, we can put you on a “Hayward waitlist”, and then notify you if a spot on the Hayward campus becomes available over the summer (not guaranteed). If you accept our offer for the Concord campus, let us know if you would like to be on the Hayward waitlist when you reply.

2) IF YOU DECLINE OUR OFFER, email [email protected] and state the reason you will not be attending. Please respond immediately, so we can continue the process with another student.

If you have any questions, please call or email us right away.

We will send you follow-up information and an official admit letter from the nursing program once we hear back from you (if you accept our offer).

Congratulations at this opportunity, and hope to welcome you to the program soon.

Kind Regards,

Hey again!

Thanks for sharing that with me! Certainly helps answer some of my questions I had, like if it is time sensitive! Again, congratulations! What a accomplishment! Hope to be joining you guys at the orientation next week! Fingers crossed!

No problem! Good luck!

Received my admittance letter this morning!!! I will be seeing all of you at Concord campus this Fall and at orientation next Thursday! Cannot wait!!!

Woohoo! Congrats!

Hi everyone,

Orientation is coming next week for Hayward campus, and I'm wondering what kind of attire should be worn during the day? Are jeans, khakis, or capris OK?

D. All of the above.

(I assume you're an incoming student.)

Hello so i was curious.. I'm a student at chabot college finishing up my sciences for an ADN nursing program BUT i was wondering if i were to transfer to CSUEB and do a BA in nursing instead of associates, what courses do i need to take if i already have an associates degree in biology -Allied health? I don't understand how it works. So say im done already with my general ed and the 3 sciences and i transfer to cal state, what courses are need to get a BA in nursing? And when do i apply for the BA nursing program? Basically my question is do i need to take more science courses at cal state? How many courses ? And when do i apply for the RN program? Thank you so much !

Also:

All of these questions were answered on the CSUEB's nursing site, the first result on google. If you're unable to work these out on your own, you'll have a VERY hard time in the nursing program! Either way good luck, and don't necrobump threads, create your own... Please and Thankyou

hello, i was wondering if i'm still in the process of completing my last science course in the fall of 2014 at a community college, will CSUEB pre-licensure program accept my application in for that fall to be admitted into the 2015 program? or do i really need to have that course done first?
