Hello everyone, 

Application period is officially open so I wanted to start a thread and see how everyone's feeling! 

Man, I wish I was on the admitting panel because we’d ALL be nurses already! I’d be the Oprah of admitting…”you get admission, you get admission, we all get admisssssssioooonnn!” ??????

The email I got said there were ~40 on the waitlist: We have approximately 40 students on the waitlist.  Below is the general range assigned to you:

The tie breaker system is used before creating the waitlist, not when selecting people from the waitlist. There are about 40 people on the waitlist according to the email they sent us. People on the waitlist are admitted based on their position (or number ranking) on the list.

I just hope we hear back soon! I emailed them yesterday regarding when they plan on contacting us on the waitlist (hoping for a more concrete date than mid November) and they just said a acceptance can come in any day and be prepared to answer quickly! I'm in the upper 1/3 as well ugh this is too nerve racking!

Got it. Thank you for explaining. Yes, it's 40 students on the waitlist ?Did anyone apply for other schools?

No I didn't.... life hit pretty hard at the beginning of the year for me and I honestly didn't have enough time to look into other schools...

Yes, I applied for 5 other schools. CSULB, SFSU, California State University, Chico, CSU Stanislaus and CSU Sacramento. And so far rejected by Long Beach and on a waitlist for East Bay and accepted by Stanislaus. Waiting for the rest ...I'm so annoyed and disappointed ...

I’ve been trying to figure out the ranges for upper, middle and lower divisions of the waitlist. Am I the only one who’s been thinking about this? LOL 

Assuming there are 40 people on the waitlist, I think that upper is somewhere around 1-13, middle is 14-26 and lower is 27-40. What y’all think?

Ugh! I seriously need a life bc this is the type of stuff I think about in my free time ???

Thanks girl! I'm trying LOL I wish we could just all get in! The medical field needs nurses so bad right now! I read that they only accepted 48 students into the program this year. I was under the impression that they took 60 students a cycle so I'm wondering if maybe they lost an instructor causing a smaller group?!

I've been calculating this too!! Nearly om the daily ?? but yes that's the same idea I have about the numbers per section!

Yes Yes, I was thinking the same in this order and I'm on 27-40 ? 

 Keep checking these forums and my emails every second like a crazy person. Really can't focus on anything.
