No question is a dumb question. The club is at school. Each year a club is formed for the specific graduating class. If you got accepted and are interested just send me a private message so I can tell you what details I need. If you need anymore help, let me know! Thank you

What's the club for?

I don't have all the details, but the advisor I have been talking to tells me we organize events for nursing. I am going to meet with once she gets back from her vacation. It is also a great way to network and stay in contact with all our classmates. We will meet either once or twice a month since we will be very busy. I hope that helps :)

Hi everyone! I've been MIA on this thread. Congrats to those who were conditionally accepted and good luck to others who are still waiting.

I am going to send in my declination form, because I too feel that financially CSUB may not be in my best interest. I'm going to a program closer to home and will plan on transferring to a BSN program after :) my deadline to accept/reject is the 15th. So I guess more alternates will be hearing from them very soon.

I'm sorry to hear that I was saddened because you are such a nice person from what I've seen in the forums and was looking forward to taking classes with someone like you, with hope of being accepted of course. But, sometimes things happen for a reason in order to follow the path that's meant to be for us. With that said, I wish you the best!! I agree, you will be a great nurse. Please let us know how your program goes ok! Wishing you the best And I will def post if i got in or not. Regardless, we are starting our nursing careers so HOORAY!!! That's the real goal, not the school but our amazing careers :)

I got an email stating I didn't make it for alternates :/ but if anything changed they will notify me.

@margaret thank you for the luck! And thanks for making this thread :) I am very happy to hear you got accepted as well! I wish you the best of luck with your chosen nursing program! Congratulations!!

@Emtfuturenurse I got the same e-mail too about we couldn't be added to the list since there isn't enough room on the list or something like that, so we are in the same boat. I'm a little confused because I was told waitlist not alternate list but maybe it is the same. I was told there were 19 on the waitlist and that as people got accepted/ or rejected they would let us know either what place we are on the waitlist or if we got in. So I am very confused and have lost a lot of hope, but still not hopeless. But now that I know there's another deadline in place, hopefully we'll hear some better news. Best of luck to you Emtfuturenurse, maybe we will get in last minute. I'm okay with that lol but it would be nice to know sooner right!? Let me know if you hear anything too ok!
