CSUB Nursing Program for Fall 2014

Hello, I'm making this thread for everyone thinking of applying and applying to CSUB's nursing program for the Fall 2014! This is the month for transfers (like me) to submit the CSU Mentor app. The nursing app is already posted on the college's website!

Any nursing hopefuls for fall 2014?

I don't know if its total of eligible applicants or alternates only... This is the number i got ...

This is nerve wracking!! I contemplated emailing the advisor as well, but I think I'll just cling on to hope and wait it out :/

I agree. I gotta admit, I just gave in and e-mailed to find out. Maybe it will bring me peace of mind, but it might make it worse. lol Best of luck to all of us still waiting! :x3:

I know right! Maybe I should have just waited..but I just asked politely in the best way I could if it was possible to see where I am on the list. I'll let you know of the reply ok.

What I need to do is walk away from the computer, the wait is driving my nuts and it's only day 2 lol

does that mean there are 66 others in front of you or does that mean you're 7th in line?

because if they only accept 60 students, then you're 7th on the wait list or is the the former, that there are 66 others in front of you?

Hmmm I was assuming she was 7th on the "wait list "...I hope that's what it means.

And I am glad you asked @Echelon, because I had the same question and I asked. She said I was ranked out of the 183, and OF those 183 eligible candidates, acceptance letters were sent to the top ranked [That's most of you here, woot woot!]. Meaning that I'm 12 people away from the 55 that they accepted. They are taking 55 students this cohort not 60, per the e-mail I received. So that's all the info I got today. So after July 8th, which is the deadline to accept or decline spots, the rest of us still waiting will find out. Keep the faith everyone! Hopefully we'll make it! :) #stayingpositive
