Who else is planning to apply for Spring 2020? What are your stats?

My stats: 3.75 cumulative GPA

3.93 science GPA

4.0 non-science GPA

I am planning to retake my TEAS as well.

I will get extra points for being a CSU Stanislaus student, living in San Joaquin County, and being bilingual.

I will be somewhere around 97-99 points.

Hey everyone!! Congrats on getting in. I have a question about housing options on campus... Is anyone planning on applying for the dorms or looking for housing?

I am going to live off-campus. I’m signing lease papers this Saturday!

Anyone from the waitlist hear back?

I am going to live at The Vista, but the only way you could get a room is if you take over someone's lease since their leases start in August.

Hey

Anyone in Spring 2020 have extra housing for 1 male?

Hello everyone ! Just wondering if anyone is applying to the nursing program for the Fall of 2020 semester? I am applying with 97-98 points and anxiously awaiting! Hope to hear your thoughts !

Hello,

I'm planning to apply for the next cohort. I was wondeing anyone would share their stats/points? ?

Hi, I had a question for those of you who got accepted for Spring 2020. I just got accepted for Fall 2020 and the first semester books haven't been posted yet. Can someone give me the names of the books required (or the isbn #). My friend is a few semesters ahead of me in the nursing program so I was going to see if her books are the same, and if not, around how much I can expect to pay.

Thanks

For first semester, you will primarily be using CoursePoint+, which is an online platform with its own access code that you will have to purchase. It is quite expensive. I remember paying at least $600 for the e-books/access code.

I spent over $1,000 total for books, supplies, uniform, fees, Castlebranch, etc. on the first semester alone.

They will go over more information about books during orientation. The only books I rented were the Nursing Research (9th edition), Med-Math (9th edition), APA 7th edition Manual (spiral version), and the Fundamentals Skills Checklist (9th edition), which you could also just print online when you purchase the access code, but it’s better to have the book. Also, I wouldn’t rent the checklist because you’ll need to write in it, so I’d buy it or print the pages and keep them together because you’ll need them in the end.

Thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

That's crazy ! I am acutally curious, do we uave to get our immunizations done before orientation? Also how do you recommend studying in the nursing program? Trying to prep LOL. ?

This was last semester, so I’m pretty sure the books should be the same.
