CSU Stanislaus Spring 2020

Published

Who else is planning to apply for Spring 2020? What are your stats?

My stats: 3.75 cumulative GPA

3.93 science GPA

4.0 non-science GPA

I am planning to retake my TEAS as well.

I will get extra points for being a CSU Stanislaus student, living in San Joaquin County, and being bilingual.

I will be somewhere around 97-99 points.

@callmepri Hello, I am planning to apply for spring 2020. My science GPA isn’t that great because I got a C+ in Physiology ? I still need to take my TEAS and retake Physio, so I hope I do great on them. Do you know if taking a year of a language class count as being bilingual? I am bilingual and took the language I speak in high school.

If you speak the language fluently and can read and write in it, you would need someone to verify that. Someone who is not a family member or friend. Generally, one year of a high school course is not enough. In CA, taking two years of a foreign language is a requirement for high school now.

Also, I am not sure how they calculate retakes since technically you did pass the class with a C. They might average the two grades, but I would ask.

I took the course in 2014 so the rules must have changed then. Is this your first time applying? Also, what is your TEAS score if you don’t mind me asking?

If you are unclear about anything, email the nursing department or call. They answer all questions.

My TEAS was an 80 the first time I took it, so pretty low, but I am planning to retake it in early September. And no this is my second time applying, but this time I will be a CSU Stanislaus student so I'll get those extra 10 points.

How many pts did you apply the first time? I think I’ll be applying with 88 pts for spring 2020. Not sure if it’s good enough ?

Think it was 86 or 87. But they do take off the waitlist.

What number were you on the waitlist?
