Hello everyone!
I have yet to see a thread on CSU Stan's ASBSN program for this Fall 2014. I just wanted to see how many people out there have applied like myself :) Best of luck to everyone!
Eek. Looks like you can't write a person's real name on here. Good to know. The --------- is where I typed the director's name. No malice intended.
Hi @hungrygirl! Since you were accepted to the last cohort, do you mind sharing you stats or the average stats of the previous cohort? I'm sure everyone got the email sent out today that we will now be hearing by the end of July. I know it may be different for this cohort but I'd just like to gauge where I stand in the applicant pool. Thanks!!

I didn't get an email! Hope that's not a bad sign for me. I wonder if they had a lot more applicants than usual this year and that's why its taking longer for them to make a decision?
I also recieved that email. I hope this will be the last time the date changes! I spoke to the dirctor a while back and at that time, they had somewhere around 70 "qualified applicants". It may have gone up a little but when I asked, it was close to the end of the application period, if not at the end (I don't really remember).
Yes I received it from that same email that @Madelinee said. Thanks @nursing127, I was wondering how many applications they received. I do too, think they got much more applications than anticipated which is why its taking long. That's just what I think though, I'm not sure about it. Hopefully we won't have to wait literally til July 31st!
Is there something specific you'f like to know? I don't really want to announce my stats to everyone one the Internet. Plus, this is kind of a second career for me, so unless you're in a similar situation, we're likely to be very different in the experience department. I will say that last years class was very diverse in age and background. There were people that had just graduated from undergraduate school, people who had been out in the world for just a few years, and others for quite some time. And there were people from varying degree backgrounds. I think you need fairly solid grades but I know the entering class average or anything. The people in the classed seemed pretty focused, determined, well-rounded. Again, that was just after I spent a day with them.
