Hello everyone! I have yet to see a thread on CSU Stan's ASBSN program for this Fall 2014. I just wanted to see how many people out there have applied like myself :) Best of luck to everyone!

HopefulBSN1 23 Posts May 2, 2014 Hi MRSKMS, Yes I read that somewhere but I'm not sure where. Seems like they will be going through the applications pretty quick considering that is only a month after the deadline. Have you applied anywhere else?

HopefulBSN1 23 Posts May 2, 2014 Hi Jen717, I am excited as well! I'm not sure how to calculate my points because I still have 2 class in progress. I'm not sure if they will factor into my points, do you know? & how about your points?
Jen717 5 Posts May 2, 2014 Hi hopefulBSN1. I'm actually not sure how they will factor in the in progress classes. I remember that the application did say something about it, though. I calculated my points to be 68. Not sure how accurate that is. I'm so nervous, I wish it was June already!
MRSKMS 9 Posts May 8, 2014 Hi guys, I am not sure about my points either ... there are a few things like medical experience which are kind of subjective so am not sure how many points will be awarded. Either way, I am really excited for June. Do either of you know anyone who is in, or has completed the program? I am trying to figure out if there would be any capacity to work. I have a job which would allow me to work from home and is flexible in terms of times of the day but I just don't know if I will have any spare time to even do that. I'd love to speak with someone who has gone through the program.
MRSKMS 9 Posts May 8, 2014 Oh and to answer your other questions HopefulBSN1 ... this is the only program I have applied for as of now. It is my first choice. That said I am still working on pre-reqs which could open up other doors if I need a backup plan. How about you guys?
HopefulBSN1 23 Posts May 9, 2014 Thank you, I guess I should look back on my application. I applied to the absn program for samuel meritt as well. Considering that I will have my bachelors in 2 weeks, I sort of want to attend an accelerated program to speed up the process of getting into my career. But at this point I am willing to go to any school that accepts me. I've already enrolled into a micro class for the fall to improve my statistics JUST in case I do not get into the program. But fingers crossed for everyone :)
