switching nursing schools
Thank you all for your responses. I feel like my question was definitely answered in this post. I'm sorry if some of you believe I am holding back another student by starting at the first school. I would have gladly given up my seat if I knew I was going to be accepted into the second program. Since I don't know for sure, I am not going to take the chance and postpone my own admission by another year. I'm sure everyone here would do the same. Thank you caliotter3 for your feedback. I really appreciate your honesty.

switching nursing schools
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the program I have been accepted to. It's actually a really good BSN program but it's so much more expensive and very far away from home. I'm not too sure of my chances of getting into the other one, but I don't want to take a gamble with it. That's why I'm asking whether it will affect my future in any way. I won't have any transcripts from that school because I will not have completed any courses. Unfortunately I won't be able to defer to after start. This decision is stressing me out so much.

switching nursing schools
Hi everyone. I wanted to ask and see what you all think about this issue. I have been accepted into a nursing program, but it is not my first choice. I'm still waiting to hear back from my top choice school. I'm thinking about starting at the school I have been accepted to while I wait for the other one to send out their admission letters. The reason I am doing this is because I don't want to give up my seat at the school, which starts in June (i wont hear back from the other school until july). My question is, will it look bad that I withdrew from a nursing school and switched to a different one? I don't want it to hurt my future employment or potentially getting into a masters program. thanks!

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN Fall 2014
Hi hopefulBSN1. I'm actually not sure how they will factor in the in progress classes. I remember that the application did say something about it, though. I calculated my points to be 68. Not sure how accurate that is. I'm so nervous, I wish it was June already!

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN Fall 2014
Hi everyone. I applied to the program as well and heard the same about the acceptance date. I'm so excited! Does anyone know what their point value is?
