CSU Nursing School Hopeful

Published

Hi all!

I'm currently in the process of applying to nursing school for Fall 2016. The schools I am applying to are SFSU, SDSU, CSULA, CSU Stanislaus, CSU Bakersfield, Sac State, and CSU Long Beach. I am EXTREMELY anxious and hesitant on whether or not I will be getting into a program especially seeing how competitive it has been.

My stats are for SFSU, CSULA, and CSUSTAN are:

GPA- 3.94

Prereq- 3.9

TEAS - 85.3%

Supplemental: Bilingual, 100+ volunteer hours in Ambulatory, Alzheimer's Care, and Post-Partum.

I plan on retaking my TEAS for the rest of my schools, yet unfortunately am cutting it close for SFSU's deadline :( Good luck to you all!

On another thread he said he had a 3.8 with a 90 TEAS score.

i regret not being able to score high enough once Stanislaus supplemental closed :( hopefully the 85 is enough.

Victoriatq, how many points do you have overall for Stan?

Oops, sorry for the double post.

I believe I have a 93.75? I'm not quite sure how to do the supplemental because I don't know how much I would get for bilingual.

That is a very competitive score! I think you will get in!

thank you! what are your points if you don't mind me asking?

I have 94 so we are about the same lol! I am really hoping I get into Stan. I got into Sac state for the spring '16 cohort but declined my spot because the schedule was too hectic for me and my family. Plus I would have had over an hour commute during high traffic hours. Stan is my next choice and a local ADN program is my 3rd. I am just ready to begin a program!
