Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats. 

Mine are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

TEAS Composite: 98.0

TEAS Reading: 93.6

I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

How did the communication exercise go for everyone?

Not going to lie, I feel like I totally bombed it, I had so much anxiety and could not think straight at all. I really hope it’s not weighted too much?

Same!! I'm part of the 9 am group and I feel like I could have elaborated more on my answer. I was so nervous and frantically thinking when they asked me my question.

how much did you write for the writing portion?? I feel like I wrote too little for the second question?

@MonChouxChoux I didn’t realize how much time I spent on the first paragraph that I only had 3 minutes to write the second, I panicked and my mind went blank. I only wrote 2 big sentences?? and they weren’t even good. I had so much trouble trying to download it that I didn’t have time to proof read either and when I went back to look at my writing it had so many errors. Then I was caught off guard with my break out room question because everyone else got something I had already prepared for and I blanked on it as well.

LOL I also feel like I wrote like nothing for the second question because I ran out of time. 
 

For those that haven’t done it yet: we watched a Ted talk Video. Then had to summarize it and answer a question about how it applied to nursing/nursing school. So def take some notes that you’d like to use for the summary to be good while you’re watching the video. 
Then we were in break out rooms for on-the-spot interview style questions about like why you wanna be a nurse, what qualities make a good nurse, how your classmates would describe you etc and you have 2 min to answer. The rest of the time is Q&A about the program etc.

oh man..me too..I spent sooo much time on the first one and I was panicking because I couldn’t elaborate on the second one ?

How much did you guys write for the first portion? I wrote about 6 sentences, not sure if that’s enough ?
