Can anyone tell me how competitive the CSU Fullerton BSN Program is?...I'm currently a transfer student from a community college and I'm just trying to gauge my chances of getting in. Any advice would be appreciated!!!

I thought they only had RN-BSN program? Good luck. The school is so over crowded. I think you have to be a student there.
They take transfers...you just have to get accepted to the university before you apply to the actual program...I didn't think it was that crowded of a school lol
What's the pre reqs? You have a link for the program
Normal CSU prereqs: Anatomy/physiology, speech, micro, Chem, etc.
Here's the link

I read on the CSU website that they do not allow the repetition of pre-req's (specifically A&P in my case). I received a C in both and plan to re-take them hopefully resulting in an A. Does this mean that if I were to apply to CSUF's BSN program they would only accept my C's? I've tried emailing multiple addresses on their website, but I can not receive a response.
So I don't understand when you apply and when you need to be done with pre reqs. All that's left is o chem for me and I am taking that in fall. So December 2011 I will be done with all pre reqs to all BSN/ADN programs
@ brbowen9: all the programs I know of only take repeats if you got a D or F in a particular course, if you receive a C or higher then they will only take that grade...@BeachBedHead: you have to have all your pre-reqs done before the Nursing school app cycle closes
Sorry. I know lol. I meant when can you apply and for what semester?
It says that you can have two in progress of the pre reqs. So yoy apply in Jan to enter for fall? You need to be done with all pre reqs? I mean if the application period starts in Jan then I will have all my pre reqs done in December. So I can apply to CSUF for fall 2012?
do you by any chance know how they select their students for the program?
It's based off of GPA, TEAS, and work/volunteer experience...they use points, it's up to 70 points possible
