Hello, everyone I'm new to this forum and I'm applying to CSN for Spring 2014. I was wondering if there are any other hopefuls out there?
Hi, I am also Spring 2015 RN hopeful. Earned my college degree in 1991 and many of my credits were not given equivalent credit for required courses. There is a Course Substitution-Waiver Form that you can use to apply to get your credits recognized. I am in the process now. Hopefully when done, I will only need to finish 223, 224, 251 and possibly 120. The forms are located near Registrar's Office. Your Adviser should be able to assist. Hope this helps :)
Hello Everyone :) I've been following this post but I kept mum the whole time. So anyway, I just want to put my 2 cents in because I know everyone is very anxious, just like me. I just received an e-mail from --------, the lady from the admissions office. She said that we will get a call last week of October, first week of November. I was hoping the wait would be over this week but another long full week, or maybe 2 of waiting.

Thanks MissesWoo! I just called her and got the same answer. Also, I've heard that if for some reason you miss their call you will be automatically dropped from the list. I asked her if that was true and she said that if you miss their call they will leave a message telling you where to go to pick up your letter of acceptance. If you do not show up that day you will then be dropped from the list. So no worries guys! No need to be glued to our phones every second of the day and jumping every time it rings(or is that just me?) :)

How ridiculous if they had ever dropped people in the past for missing a phone call. Sleeping, taking a shower, driving, there are many times we are away from our phones. However, I know a few people who are so attached to their phone they treat it like a human being. I tell you guys, I have done everything I can to put my mind off "Accepted or Rejected?" Fear can easily win you over this week.

Thanks for letting us know MissesWoo!
Omg, I'm glad u let us in on that, I would of freaked if I hadn't gotten a call by Friday , I guess it's going to be another week of this terrible anxious feeling! Oh well I guess we'll just have to wait, as we get the call!
Last year they kept telling us the same thing. I would keep calling them (le office) daily and also ask it the selection committee has met. Once that happens they (nursing dept) should notify you quickly. Or if you keep bugging them, they will get sick of listening to you and tell you the good news! As far as them dropping you if you don't answer the call, I don't think that's true. They leave messages and some people also got emails. Now they will probably drop you right away if you don't show up to sign for your paperwork/acceptance, pay for something (drug screen/ati) or being late/absent for any of the orientations. So don't sweat it if you can't take the call. But do EVERYTHING that they tell you after that!! Can't wait to hear all the good news from everyone very soon!!

Thanks Minigia06! Has anyone called and asked what day they will be making calls? I think I might do that tomorrow if no one else has already. The anticipation is killing me!!!
