Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and I was wondering if there are any fellow CSN RN Spring '13 hopefuls out there. I just turned in my application today and I would love to get to know some of my potential classmates through this forum :)

This waiting makes me wanna just rip somebody's head off

SERIOUSLY ARGHHHHHHHHH i cant wait til tomorrow...which seems silly since i have already waited almost two months since i turned my packet in but i cant take it anymore...i was calm about it until the 19th since then i have been twisted up every day waiting to hear something...and last night as i went to sleep i was calm because i figured today would be the day for sure

I see lots of people signed on today, but everyone is so quiet. How is everyone passing the time? I've been yapping all day so I'll be quiet now.

I am anxious but I also know that the phone call (if I get accepted) is the beginning of a long and hard journey. So I am passing the time by working and studying my A & P autonomic nervous system, dosages and calculations, etc. Because the toughest part will be the program, not the waiting. Don't get me wrong, the waiting is nerve wracking but I am thinking about after! That has my mind working more. Getting through! Good luck everyone and I know I'll see you and we can be a support for each other when the going gets tough.

I've been at work being paranoid and grumpy. I've drained like half of my phone battery 4 hours into my shift because I keep checking here for updates. Ughhh I can't take this anymore!!! :(

Wow! You all are really giving me so much info. I haven't been on here for a day and there are like 3 more pages of conversations. LOL I just wanna say that only the ones that get in get a phone call. If you didn't make it in, you get a letter in the mail. No call will be made to those who didn't make the cut. SOoooooo, if your phone rings from CSN, you have a spot!! I will have to say though, I would so answer it, even if I was at work or driving. Just have your headset/blue tooth on. The first time I got accepted, I got the call around 1pm ish... Good luck everyone. I am so nervous.... :scrying:

Correction, I was looking back on my posts from when I got the acceptance and I posted that I got the call around 3pm. Oh man, I am so nervous!!

I am giving up for the day in order to #1 not continue to drive myself crazy worrying about a call that will probably not come until tomorrow and #2 Watch the San Francisco Giants play in the first game of the world series...Thank you all for being on here posting...it is nice to know i am not the only one in the anxiety boat waiting to hear if i got into the program...a lot of people just dont "get it" and tell me not to stress so it is nice to talk with people who understand what it has already taken just to be able to apply to get into the program and who understand how much getting that phone call will mean

For now I can relax knowing no news will come tonight. Tomorrow will be peaked anxiety and loads of excitement. Good night for now and good luck to everyone tomorrow :)

I agree...it's so nice to have all of you here. My friends and family support me but they don't fully understand my craziness like you all do.

Hope you enjoy the game. I'm glad the Tigers are not clobbering your team like they did mine (Yankees) lol :)
