hello all!

i was just wondering, for those of you that are applying to csn's spring 2012 full time or part time rn program, when are you planning on turning in your packet?

i know the deadline isn't until sept 1,2011 but i am excited to get that acceptance letter :yeah:and i also just want the application off of my hands lol

thanks for any feedback happy nursing to all! :nurse:

No what did the email say?

Specializes in Psych! maybe.....

judging from the authorization to release form in the packet, there is a line that says "clinical affiliation requirements."

maybe this is what they were referring to.....I'm not completely sure on that.

The email just says that you have access to the syllabus now

how are you guys? here, starting to read nurs125....everyone is ready? i am not--- needs some hemostat and goggles and watch... and thats it.... monday is coming!!!! hopefully all of us dont get any 3 percent deduction....

all i need is a hemostat but im in no rush...dont even know what that is lol

Specializes in Psych! maybe.....

hemostats are those little clamps that resemble scissors.

Basically its used to grab items without your physical contact - ideal for wound dressing changes.

I'm not sure if we would need those on the first day.....

I think that they would be needed in the middle of the semester.

All we would be doing are bed transfers to wheelchairs, changing pt. position in beds, washing hands, using a hydraulic lift, etc.

none of these would require the hemostats, much less the stethescopes.

Anyone have ideas on this? Are the upcoming clinical-on-campus sessions going to really require all of the equipment?

i probably will bring everything..lol

okay..what should i bring for my laboratory? should i bring the steth, hemostat, goggles, iknow we dont need it........ kindof weird that we dont need it and if later we need it---then we get 3 percent deduction!

the lab schedule tells us what to bring each day

We never used the hemostats! We always brought our stethoscopes, sometimes pen lights and BP cuffs, but they have everything there for you.

Oh....what shld i bring for lab..iread it already but am just scared later prof will look for those requirement...
