Hey guys, I have a question...I got a C- in 224. Taking 251 in fall then I'm done with all pre reqs. But is that "minus" going to keep me from getting the points I need from 251? It says you must have a "C" or better for the 10 points. Anybody know?

You will not get the points for micro with a C- but it may not prevent you from getting in the program because the amount of points needed to get in varies per semester. I don't know if a C- will hurt your chances of graduating down the road. Some programs do not allow C- grades and some do. I would call the limited entry office and ask if that will hurt you now or in the future.

Thanks, I actually did call this morning. I can still apply, but will have to retake it eventually for a C or better, so I might as well retake it now and try to get the 10 points before applying. I honestly thought I had a C in there, until yesterday when I was reviewing my course history on myNSC. I take most classes at NSC. Anyway, thanks!!

Anyone else here attempt to get their book bundle from the bookstore yet? I am frustrated because I keep getting different answers from each employee at the book store. Last week the bookstore website said the bundles were in, so I drove over there to see if I could get them. Well, the girl was less than pleasant in telling me the they wouldn't have the books until about 2 weeks before school started. I told her the website says they are in and she didn't believe me. Finally she looked it up and sure enough, it said they had them in. So she looked for them and couldn't find them. Then did a little digging and found that they were (supposedly) supposed to be delivered today. Today I call and the person who answered the phone says they won't be in until the middle of August.... UGH! I know we have plenty of time until school starts, I am just really frustrated at the back and forth and sketchy answers :(

I think I went to that damn bookstore 3 times to get my books for 1st semester. Each time I got a different story about why they weren't there. The people there are incompetent fools!!! Get used to being annoyed every time you go there!

Glad I am not the only one :( I was starting to think that maybe I'm being a little crazy! LOL

Guess I'll just keep checking the bookstore website.

I was told by the nimrod at bookstore to not go by what the website says. Apparently that info reflects what their warehouse stock is, not the specific store. Who the heck knows. I don't trust anything that those people say!

And of course I just checked the website and it now says they are in stock..... going to call in the morning and see what they say...
