Anyone here applying for fall? :)
Our 208 class just had a panel of recruiters from some of the hospitals, and they said that if you put on your resume that you plan on getting your BSN that it looks really good. Yes, it's true, more and more places want BSN degrees, BUT, as I have said before, MANY students I know that graduated in Dec are already working, and I know a few that will graduate this semester and already have jobs lined up! Also, volunteer, NOW! It looks good on your resume, Join the NSNA, we do lots of things, or volunteer on your own. The recruiters are big on volunteer work!
I'm taking classes. I have this summer and next to finish my pre-req's for the BSN bridge--'cause I really don't want to take any classes while in the program. I'm taking a math course, nutrition, human development (through NSC)--still on the fence about this one--and the toolbox course. That leaves me with chem and statistics for next summer. I didn't take classes this semester, though, as my daughter was born Jan. 30th. So I feel like I've already had a semester off. I'm ready to go!
Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I am applying for the full-time RN program in September for Spring 2014. I see everyone keeps posting about a tool box class.... I just wanted to know if you can take the toolbox class before you are in the program? I am taking Bio 121(nutrition) and math 120 in the summer. I also have 26 points before my teas exam...
