Christina what's the name of the tool box class when looking on the registration site?

Yes, does anybody know the course catalog number for the toolbox class? Never hurts to be prepared! :)

Hey Cristina, thanks so much for helping us with all of our questions! I won't be moving until the end of July, so I am unable to take the toolbox class. Would you have any other recommendations for getting prepared for dosage and calculations?

I went to add the toolbox class for the summer and if says to choose how many units from 0.5 to 5.50... What does that mean and how many units should I put? Thank you in advance :)

HI Christina, so I noticed on the toolbox class that it has us select the units we need before we can finish registering? Since this is just a brush up class do we just select the lowest (.50 units)? The price goes up with more units so I was just wondering what we would fall under. Thanks for all your help, your kinda our beacon of light guiding us through the cold black ocean were swimming in right now!!:D LOL

I contacted the counselor over at NSC about the chem requirement and this is what she said:

"NSC is getting rid of CHEM 110 and CHEM 111 and making CHEM 112 (a combo of the two) if you want to take the courses at CSN, you would have to take CHEM 110 and CHEM 111, or Chem 121 and Chem 241. " so that answers that question....I'm happy I didn't start to take it! I plan to take 112 next summer during the short session.

Hello all !!! I just activated my account I also applied for CSN RN Fall 2013 and I turned in my packet on exactly March 1st...I almost had a meltdown because after I traveled all the way to the west charleston campus I had to turn all the way back around and go home and get my high school diploma. I turned everything in and I believe I am sitting at 27 points, I passed the teas exam and i retook a few prereqs for a higher grade, i have all a's a B in 223 and a C in 189....I am dying in anticipation now...I have been reading this thread and am I to understand that they are NOT calling us until MAY 2nd?! this is torture!!! first I heard it was 6 weeks, they are way past that, then I hear end of april and now May 2nd....I guess my question is how does this all work with registration and financial aid?? I am hopeful that all who put in an application will get in...I heard rumors that people with 9 points got in for spring of 2013 which to me is insane and when doing the calculations that means they have not even begun 224 or 251 which if you ask me is pretty darn important...anyways I am just trying to sort out facts from rumors and I am starting to lose patience too!! they have to be enjoying torturing us all!!!

Busynurse2bee: when I called they said phone calls are going out may 2nd. I also heard that last semester 9 points was accepted. Which is crazy to me too. So I guess we all have to wait two weeks from today :( it's going to be a long two weeks. I also heard they received 123 apps for the full time track and are accepting 104. Hopefully we find out in time for the whole financial aid deal. Good luck to you and everyone else :)

Ack!!! they told me it was supposed to be 6 weeks from the deadline, but I have been told by many that they will extend the deadline as long as possible... two more weeks is torture!!! Anybody know by chance what the cut off for points was?? I last heard it was 25, I think...I just read on this thread that they are accepting 120, so is that for full time and extended track too?? I am also looking over the curriculum and I am pretty sure that at least 10 years of my life expectancy is going to be taken off lol...well all worth it in the end right?? I cannot believe they are making us wait til May 2nd!!! ugh this is torture!!!

OMG!!! Has anyone happened to look in their planner on My CSN and noticed that under my planner that NURS 101 and 125 have been placed into it?? I know for a fact that I didn't do that could this be a way of knowing if we got in?

Busynurse2bee: I just looked in my planner and it was empty :( and u heard that 25 was the cut off for this coming fall?
