That was what i heard the cut off was for fall of 2012...Im sorry I thought I wrote that before and I forgot to put that...as for the planner I think it was just a fluke because I sat there and added all classes and could delete them and what not so I don't think that is a good indicator whether we got in....grrr....WHY MUST THEY TORTURE US?? I am not a patient person to begin with, the fact that I have held out this long without getting frustrated is nothing short of a miracle...I have been trying to call limited entry all day, and of course no answer....

OMG!!! Has anyone happened to look in their planner on My CSN and noticed that under my planner that NURS 101 and 125 have been placed into it?? I know for a fact that I didn't do that could this be a way of knowing if we got in?

Ack!!! they told me it was supposed to be 6 weeks from the deadline, but I have been told by many that they will extend the deadline as long as possible... two more weeks is torture!!! Anybody know by chance what the cut off for points was?? I last heard it was 25, I think...I just read on this thread that they are accepting 120, so is that for full time and extended track too?? I am also looking over the curriculum and I am pretty sure that at least 10 years of my life expectancy is going to be taken off lol...well all worth it in the end right?? I cannot believe they are making us wait til May 2nd!!! ugh this is torture!!!

Hello all !!! I just activated my account I also applied for CSN RN Fall 2013 and I turned in my packet on exactly March 1st...I almost had a meltdown because after I traveled all the way to the west charleston campus I had to turn all the way back around and go home and get my high school diploma. I turned everything in and I believe I am sitting at 27 points, I passed the teas exam and i retook a few prereqs for a higher grade, i have all a's a B in 223 and a C in 189....I am dying in anticipation now...I have been reading this thread and am I to understand that they are NOT calling us until MAY 2nd?! this is torture!!! first I heard it was 6 weeks, they are way past that, then I hear end of april and now May 2nd....I guess my question is how does this all work with registration and financial aid?? I am hopeful that all who put in an application will get in...I heard rumors that people with 9 points got in for spring of 2013 which to me is insane and when doing the calculations that means they have not even begun 224 or 251 which if you ask me is pretty darn important...anyways I am just trying to sort out facts from rumors and I am starting to lose patience too!! they have to be enjoying torturing us all!!!

oh and if you don't mind me asking about Kaplan college...what is the curriculum like there?? do they require all the same prereqs and gen eds that CSN does??

I do not have any healthcare experience or a license for a healthcare position....I am hearing so many mixed reviews about the CSN program...I have heard its hard to get in, then others say they got in no problem...I am on limited time so I am nervous...If you don't mind me asking, how were your grades for getting into the program?? I really hate that they say the minimum grade is a C and then you get a C and they lecture you about it...my head is spinning so much with all this information ...

Hello all :) I am currently attending CSN and finishing up pre reqs for the RN program. This spring I am enrolled in BIOL 224, BIOL 251 and am taking ENG 102 and will be re taking PSY 101 in hope of an A this time around because I am getting a little intimidated by all this talk of having to have at least 28 points to be guarenteed a stop in the program. My husband is in the military so we are on limited time so I am trying to hurry and get everything done before the AF decides to tell us we have to move...my husband is on the thunderbirds too and have a 3 1/2 year old to look after while he is on all his trips...needless to say I have my hands full lol...any of you who have attended CSN know how hard BIOL 189 is to get into...I ended up with a C in it...since its a blood bath just about to get into it...I thought about retaking my psy 101 and math 100b to get A's(I eaned b in both) to boost the GPA up...can anyone tell me more about the program...I want to do the full time program and am shooting to get into Spring 2013... how many points is a guarenteed in?? is it really as competitive as they make it sound?? I have had people telling me unless you have a 4.0 you wont get in...please any input is great :)
