What kind of growth do you feel like you'd obtain from a new position? I agree that a per diem position may be good to test the waters. Float pool always seems to get the tougher assignments. Good luck and keep us posted on your decision

Hello all. I'm a new grad, I have about one year in at a step down unit. It is so stressful and I know I cannot work there for long term. I am thinking of my next step in life. It seems like the usual route is NP or teaching. A few of my coworkers are pursuing their MBA. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about these paths? Can you tell me what accreditation I should be looking for when applying to schools as well? Thank you so much for your input

Full time! I absolutely love school, so I hope to embrace the full time status, learn a lot, earn good grades, and meet likeminded people all the while. I used to work in the beverage department in a casino, so not a lot of my coworkers were "school oriented" there, so I truly appreciate being around fellow students. It's so exciting that the years of pre-reqs are finally amounting to something! WOOHOO!

All of you are awesome! Thanks for all the info. I feel like we are bonding on here a little bit (yes, I'm sober). I'm sure my boyfriend and friends are sick of me talking about nursing school. I feel grateful that we have each other, because we can type all we want about it on here! That pink Littman with the rainbow colored plating is SO freaking cute!
