CSM - College of San Mateo - 2019 applicants

Just wanted to see for who has applied to the CSM ADN program. I applied last year for the LVN to RN bridge, but was waitlisted, so I applied for it again this year. Crossing my fingers.

Yes you start same as CSM.

Has anyone denying their acceptance to CSM informed Judith yet? I'm on the waitlist but haven't heard anything back.

Does anybody know if we have to have a teas score of 78 or up when we apply for the bsn bridge?

Question. I am on the waitlist and I'm trying my hardest to attend tomorrow's orientation. For those of you that got accepted and had pre-planned events, did you reach out at the office to see if they would accommodate you or what advice they had for you? It sucks not knowing if you're towards the top or bottom of the waitlist. :( I hope I can make it.

Honestly I’m not sure, I didn’t even get an email about orientation or even my place on the waitlist.. Even though I was part of the top 90...... But Judith did tell me that I’m too far down on the waitlist & she doubts I’ll even get in so there was no need for me to even attend the orientation ??‍♀️??‍♀️ and this was when acceptance emails went out, I had to call & see what was going on..

If you don't mind me asking, what was your place on the waitlist? Maybe I can call and get info on where I am at on the waitlist?

Can’t remeber the really low number she told me I was at Lol.. but you can most def call & get info about where you are on the waitlist.. I called Judith directly, but I’m sure there maybe an assistant that can help you as well ?? goodluck!!

Hello there! I got accepted & can only make it for half of the session due to a pre-planned CNA state exam. I contacted Judith the same day the orientation email came out & she said I could have a family member fill in for me, for the second half. My father took the day off work to fill in for me & I had to give Judith his full name. She also told me that there are no makeup days for this orientation & that I had to get a family member to come in order to still be qualified. Going to be a stressful day for me tomorrow for sure ? Will the nursing department give you a waitlist number if you call them? I was on the waitlist for a couple of other schools & they would always give me an updated # when I called. HI guys!

Thanks for your response MISA1992. I was actually able to attend the orientation yesterday. Thank goodness! I hope your CNA exam went well. I emailed Judith this morning and she said I am waitlist #4! OMG!? I really hope I get in. Does anyone know how long the top 50 have to accept their spots?
