CRNE OCTOBER 2012

Published

Hi everyone! I am an IEN from the Philippines batch 2009 I moved here in Brampton last November 2010.

I took the May 2012 CPNRE (first time) and still waiting for the results which will come out on June. Apparently, I just received my RN eligibility and so happy because it took me almost 14months (from the start of application) to wait for this. I thought CNO will make me take some courses. I was really estatic and relieved when I received the letter, because I am really rooting for RN.

Now this is it! Anyone else who are planning to take the October CRNE? :)

Let's use this thread to share our thoughts regarding preparation and questions. :)

anyways.. we can also use this thread to post some exam questions you are unsure of and let's discuss and rationalize them. :)

These questions must not be taken from any current or past CRNEs. All who take these exams are required to sign a contract stating that they will not reveal the exact content of the exam or discuss publicly any of the questions used. You may use questions from the prep tests though.

oh i would like to clarify that statement. what i meant are practice questions encountered in study guides, prep guides or review materials. i wasn't pertaining to the actual "exam" questions. :)

Hey all fellows...I gave CRNE in 2010..used my 2 chances failed and now after passing NCLEX I am planning to use my last chance in OCT 2012...is there any changes since 2010 in CRNE??? Any good suggestions for prep courses???

Why don't you read the threads for the Feb 2012 and June 2012 exams? Your questions are answered there and need not be repeated here.

hi all,

I am an IEN. I got the eligibility from the CNO to write CRNE, so I am giving my exam on October 3rd. Therefore, can anybody tell me how to start the preparation and what is the best available resources to get through the exam.

Thanks in advance.

This thread is discussing the CRNE if you want to discuss the application to be a RN in the US and work in the US (remember passing NCLEX doesn't mean you can bypass CRNE) then please check out the Advice on immigration forum where you will see many threads discussing the US

hey all, I need help with math questions in CRNE..is it possible for anyone to share few and focus on the strategies to solve them efficiently???

Not only math calculations but also need help to prepare myself to answer community health nursing related questions. Best strategy to answer them and to prepare the whole section of community nursing. What points should we focus more and like that. I see there is a lot of stuff on allnurses to prepare for NCLEX and very less for CRNE so lets start building it. I mean from the beginning. Topics, meds, med calculations, community nursing, etc.

There's actually A LOT of information about the CRNE on this site. You just have to look for it. Every exam sitting for the past five years at least has been heavily discussed with details about studying, how to prep etc. If you found allnurses.com you can find this stuff. Use the search box at the top right of the screen....
