CRNE OCTOBER 2012

World Canada CRNE

Published

Hi everyone! I am an IEN from the Philippines batch 2009 I moved here in Brampton last November 2010.

I took the May 2012 CPNRE (first time) and still waiting for the results which will come out on June. Apparently, I just received my RN eligibility and so happy because it took me almost 14months (from the start of application) to wait for this. I thought CNO will make me take some courses. I was really estatic and relieved when I received the letter, because I am really rooting for RN.

Now this is it! Anyone else who are planning to take the October CRNE? :)

Let's use this thread to share our thoughts regarding preparation and questions. :)

Congrats to all who pass, may ur good luck brings good news to rest of us....

They're in the mail in SK since we all got ours today.

Still anxiously waiting in SK.

for tips all I can say is study study study!!!!! what I found really helpful was doing the CNA questions over and over again read the answers and reasons really carefully with every answer there is usually a theme, safety, oxygenation, advocacy etc..... use Potter and Perry with the CNA book usually with every answer there is the book where they got the answer from with exact pages read those. Lewis for patho for sure, and if you want a throughout review course go to the torontoschoolofnursing it was really helpful. Start studying now, it might be hard with the holidays and all but February will be here in no time. U put it in 6-8 hours everyday with a different focus each day and the more you re-read sth the more you will know it. I could go on and on but I hope that it was helpful good luck to all the future writers ;) Ohhh cant believe I forgot the most important THE COMPETENCIES read them and understand them, for the diseases I focused on the ones that were stated on the COMPETENCIES. ok enough ;)
