Anyone started to prepare for CRNE June 2012?
Actually, you are not a professional until you have your registration in hand. There are many who post here who truly do not understand how the Colleges work. I don't see how my response was unsupportive by merely providing some context to the subject. These same questions and comments are posted in the days and weeks following every single sitting of the CRNE. There will be those who will not receive the long-hoped-for positive result, just as there always is, and I too will be here again in four months explaining it all over to a new group of examinees. It's my job.
Just to put the record straight I hold a current nurse and Midwife licence in 4 different countries for the last 20 years. I am saddened to see an administrator write such a response.

I feel for you louise1821, that's what I was trying to make them realize. You are one of those we regard as expert nurse "professionals". I have high respect with nurses who has been in the field for so many years. And to be regarded as "not a professional" is kinda unacceptable. These kind of comments don't help at all either. Not because you don't have a registration here in Canada (yet) doesn't make you "not a professional".
Anyways, much has been said and I guess we made our point clear. For those who are still waiting and soon be waiting, I wish everyone goodluck! Always remember we are nurses and we are professionals. :)
You go girl! That's more like it. My people chose a pizza party, you know children and pizza since I'm not the only one waiting. My children are too :)Hang in there guys! What will you do to celebrate your PASS?!Couple's Massage for myself and the hub for Sunday - how wonderful it would be to have that envelope in hand by then!
I commend you my colleague for all your years of service to mankind. May your labour be rewarded with success. Professionalism involves being sensitive to other people's feeling especially in our chosen field.Just to put the record straight I hold a current nurse and Midwife licence in 4 different countries for the last 20 years.
