I just received my confirmation to write the crne this February. I am now in desperation to get a review materials to study on. I am still in the process of acquiring the crne prep guide as this was what most of those taking the October 2009 CRNE but one thread says the shipping cost is far way too expensive. huhu
BUt however, the exam cost is to much to fail the test... so can anybody out there give tips? advises and how was it like? what to concentrate more?

My 2 previous exams scores gap from passing was 3 points, totally cried for those. But yeah there's always the right time and sacrifice, patience and hard work truly paid off.
Emy....I thought that the first part was ok. The second part I found was harder. It cud be because I was tired and anxious to finish the exam. I found the first part was very med-surg whereas the second was more about changes and how to implement it (community).

got mine 2day here in bc, not good. Scored 141,they said pass is 142.first attempt.Shld i request for a recount ? Has anyone ever won after a recount ? wat do i do now?Go for lectures?I got no job and am totally unfamiliar with canadian work environment.Does anybody know where i can do some volunteering to gain experience since the jobs are not forth coming?
To Lucilleohio, I have been through same feelings as you are. I got mine in 3rd attempt. You have done your best. Apply again for another exam. We got the same booklet, community at the 2nd one. There's always a reason for everything.
oh by the way, i filed for re-score in my 2nd attempt, w/c had 3 points gap. i got same result. there's no harm trying just to satisfy yourself if you there's a computer failure or something if i were you but i think they'll stay on what there had score with.
I've got big envelope A4 size , from what I heard and correct me if I wrong that fail envelope looks small. So sorry to hear about it , Lucilleohio, don't give up, it must be hard but you can do it.
The envelop varies depending on your location. In BC, I believe its large envelop for pass and small for fail?? In toronto, its small no matter what.
Lucille....I'm sorry to hear about your result. Don't get disencourage. Try again. You did your best. Everything does happen for a reason. I know how you feel. It's hard but don't loose hope. You'll get it next time.
