CRNE February 2010

Published

Hello! anybody out there?!! :coollook:

I just received my confirmation to write the crne this February. I am now in desperation to get a review materials to study on. I am still in the process of acquiring the crne prep guide as this was what most of those taking the October 2009 CRNE but one thread says the shipping cost is far way too expensive. huhu

BUt however, the exam cost is to much to fail the test... so can anybody out there give tips? advises and how was it like? what to concentrate more?

first part was ok but 2nd part was difficult so i'm kind of nervous and want to know the result asap and tired of waiting

I also felt the same way as nurseinwales. First part was relatively ok but the second was a different story. Im so nervous.ahhhhhh

anybody remembers how many questions were on the Feb 2010 CRNE ??

I did know, but have forgotten now. 30 rings some bells, but I honestly cannot remember. Sorry.

I had 149 both book. My friend has 148 and 149 questions. So roughly 298 questions all together

If I'm correct, there's about 60 pilot question. How did you guys find the second part? I found it extremly difficult....

I found both books to be similar on the level of difficulty. Maybe the second book was harder due to been tired and the end of the day. I did find the drug calculation questions unfair due to not been able to use a calculator. I'm a nurse not a maths expert and I need to use a calculator. So I do not think I got those questions correct. All I can say is that I gave it my best and whatever the results are I could not of done anymore to prepare (well get better at drug cals without a calculator). I answered all of the questions in both books and and just had enough time to go through and check them. Both books I only left 5mins before the allocated time was finished. So I wait to see......

oh well hopefully we all pass! nothing in BC yet. yeah most questions kinda tricky.
