I just received my confirmation to write the crne this February. I am now in desperation to get a review materials to study on. I am still in the process of acquiring the crne prep guide as this was what most of those taking the October 2009 CRNE but one thread says the shipping cost is far way too expensive. huhu
BUt however, the exam cost is to much to fail the test... so can anybody out there give tips? advises and how was it like? what to concentrate more?

I'm from mississauga and no result yet. Now, I'm really nervous.....did anyone from toronto get that bad phone call yet? I wasn't even aware that they were doing that anywhere. How did you guys find the Feb exam? I'm so scared of failing.
wow! that's an early result. Congrats to all who already passed the Feb 2010 CRNE. Your waiting is over. Not for us who are still waiting. God help us. I cannot imagine myself studying again for the June exam. And this year, they are not offering the exam in Oct.

hi guys! i also took the feb 2010 exam and we haven't received the result yet here at british columbia. does anybody know and tell me what is the passing score? thank you! goodluck to me and to all... hopefully i pass.

what's a passing mark on the crne? the standard passing score ranges from 59-68%. but the standard passing score is determined by the level of difficulty of the exam as established by the crne examination committee. each exam is set by the committee using a pool of thousands of stock questions created by nursing educators across the country. the pool of questions is constantly changing, as is the composition of the exam. no two exams are ever more than superficially similar. the actual mark achieved only matters as it compares to the standard set for that specific exam. results are reported to the candidate as either "pass" or "fail". occasionally the cna will provide a score to the failing candidate in an effort to assist with succeeding on subsequent attempts but generally speaking you will not receive a score.

I was of the understanding that you found out your results via mail. Regardless if you passed or failed.......
Toronto is not in Manitoba. The post referring to phone calls to those who failed was related to Manitoba. i don't believe that other provinces will be calling people. There are just too many candidates to make that practical.

yeah, no news in BC yet.
I phoned up CRNBC and asked them about it, they told me they'll be mailing the results next week. whew!
