Hi everyone,

I am new to this site.And I am gonna take CRNE FEB 2011 and very nervous.Can anyone guide me what books do I need to study for this exam. I would also appreciate if there is any sugestions for review centre in vacouver or surrey because i live in b.c.

hi,i am totally disheartened i failed by 1mark in october 2010 and 4marks in february 2011.i feel suffocated.can anybody please help me out?

I am only left with last chance.I am an international nurse.

All i did in my last 2 attempts was self study.I wish to take prep course for october 2011. Can anybody suggest me a guaranteed prep course?i mean something which is really helpfull and help me achieve pass score in my third attempt?i am in Ottawa but i am willing to move anywhere to take any course.

Please take heart. It pains not to pass the CRNE on two attempts. As you might have read on this forum, I was there a while ago. I attempted the CRNE first in June 2010, fell short by 4 points; tried again in October 2010, and fell short with a wider margin this time (13 points); attempted the third time in Feb 2011 and scaled through. My having to fail the 2 previous attempts does not in any way implied "dumminess" or lack of knowledge. Rather, my problem was poor exam-taking (or specifically multiple-questions taking) skill. I must overcome this problem if the CRNE must be passed. In the first attempt, I was too slow that I could not finish and I rushed towards the end of the exam; In the second attempt, I rushed too much from start to finish. In my last attempt, apart from doing a better (thorough) preparation, I did better in time management and was neither too fast nor too slow. I spread the time evenly.

It may be a good idea if you can do a self-evaluation of the two previous trials and identify where you need to amend. You were much closer to passing than I was and I have no doubt that you are intelligent and smart. Please wipe off your tears and look out the window - your future is brighter than you think. i lack in nurse person relationship competency.that where i scored bad in both previous attempts.

can you please suggest any book?

i will try to practise more tests.I too lacked time management tact in my first attempt ,in my second i did 20minutes before the expiry time.i wasnt anxious in both my attempts.i need some clarifications about the questions i have in my mind.I need someone to answer my queries.I really need an evaluator.Can you please pass on your views about any prep couse i can take in june or july to sit for the october slot so that i have enough time for before the exam for myself?

Did you actually try the steps as I outlined them? You will not get watermelon's email address, but you will be able to send an email with your own email address in it to him/her via a portal on our site. Please reread my previous post.

Toronto School of Health is not accredited, was the subject of a cease-and-desist order 2 years ago and charges an extortionate amount of money - nearly $10,000 - for their prep course with NO guarantee of passing the exam. Actually, there are no guaranteed prep courses, because there are too many variables to make it absolutely foolproof. I would recommend you check with the universities in your area to see if any of them offer a prep course, because they will be the most legitimate and reasonable.

Since you know your downfall was the interpersonal relationships part, thst is where you should concentrate your efforts. Read the prep materials and work through the rationales for the responses they consider correct so that you undeerstand the thinking behind the questions and their correct responses. You have to think the way they want you to, at least when it comes to the exam - even if the responses they consider to be the correct ones are very unrealistic and improbable in the real world.
