CRNA University of Miami starting 2021

Published

Hey everyone, I have started a thread for the 2021 CRNA cohort at the University of Miami. I could not seem to find one for this application cycle.

I have just applied and am hoping I get an interview.

Glad to hear something because I emailed earlier this week and haven’t heard anything yet... I’m just going to put it all with the Lord. They should be getting people ready for finals so I guess they will be pretty busy.

I think they’re just running behind and since ****** isn’t there, I’m not sure who’s doing all that communication back and forth. Finals wrap up next week for the students at least for first years as far as I know and then they have a week off for sure I know that, not sure if it’s any longer.
The wait is absolutely awful, but just have to trust the process ??

It’s really a long wait! I wonder how many students per cohorts are admitted?

It is really long, I’m ready to find out already! I think 30-35 per class? I wonder how many they interviewed in total

Did anybody have an interview this week, and did they tell you how long the wait will be?

I had my zoom interview today. They said it was the last day of interviews and they will be discussing with the committee over this next week. We can expect to hear back by the end of the month.

Thank you for the update. Hopefully we will know before Memorial Day.

I checked my Canelink this morning and now my application says “complete” which is a change from the previous “incomplete.” Not sure what this means but anyone else?

Mine has said complete for months now ever since I submitted my application and it was verified back in January/February.

It just mean that they are done reviewing your application. Anybody knows how many applicants they’ve interviewed? Are we gettting a phone call, email, mail, or message in canelink for the decision? Good luck and God bless everyone! I hope to hear from them before the end of this month. Thanks!

I’ve heard we’ll be notified via email but also in Canelink your status will change to “accepted” but I’m not sure if that’s true or not?
