Hey everyone, I have started a thread for the 2021 CRNA cohort at the University of Miami. I could not seem to find one for this application cycle.
I have just applied and am hoping I get an interview.

I am sorry to hear that. I have been rejected so many times by 5 different schools. This is my second year to apply, I am hoping for a different result this time. So do not lose hope, keep going and keep getting better.

I received my rejection email today. Like you, this is my second time applying to this school. I am frustrated b/c the last time I was rejected, I inquired about what to do to strengthen my application and I was told to take a graduate level science course. I know this doesn't guarantee admission b/c each year you're up against a different pool of qualified applicants but I feel it was all in vain. Anyways, the advice I will give you (that has been given to me) is to stay positive, stay motivated and continue to work towards your goal of becoming a CRNA. UM is just one of many schools. I know people that have been rejected many many times and they've never given up. Some are CRNA'a now and some are still applying. Good luck.

I haven't received any feedback from this cycle but I applied back in 2018 and was granted an interview for the class starting January 2019. I have been out of school over 10 years so I was told to take a graduate level science course to show that I can handle graduate level content. I think each person's feedback will be individualized based on their strengths and weaknesses.
