CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

Hey TnK1022, I interviewed yesterday but haven't heard anything yet. How did you think of the interview?

The director and interviewers were so kind and really seem to care for their students! I have only interviewed at USF prior so not much experience to compare to but it was overall such a different experience! I felt that it went well, but I know there are so many qualified applicants also! I just want to hear something! lol

Congrats on getting into USF. When were you initially notified by UM that you were accepted?

I spoke with Liz today and she said I'll be getting a letter by tomorrow. I asked if she could tell me anything over the phone and she said no ahhhh

I am so disappointed. I felt as though I were a strong candidate and atleast be given the opportunity to interview. I am 99% sure they won't be setting up any more interviews. I am heartbroken since UM was my first choice.
