CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Published

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

omg thats what I thought too...

Nice to hear from all of you. I recently interviewed on the 3rd of April, they said they would get back to me in about 2 to 3 weeks with the desicion. The interview was simpler than I thought but they definitely want to know you know your area of expertise well (for me Neuro ICU). If you guys have any questions let me know!

I applied January 15th and got called for the interview March 27th. The interview took place a week later April 3rd. Hope it helps :)

The actual interview for me was like 15 minutes but they were running behind so maybe they rushed it, they told me to prepare for a 40 minute interview when I was called.

Hi!! So happy for you! 😄 If you dont mind sharing with the group, can you tell us your GPA and years of experience and other qualifications? It would be so appreciated! Thank you!

who are you referring your question to?

I too interviewed on April 3. I feel like it went well. However, this wait is killing me. I hope we all find out soon. Good luck to everyone!

I interviewed on 4/3 as well and I feel that it went ok. I made all the points I wanted and answered all the clinical questions appropriately, but I feel like I could have answered them a little better. Just was super nervous about it. Anyhow I hope they let us know within 2 weeks. I was told to reach out if not. Good Luck to those waiting to hear something. Hang in there!

Hiii,

Haven't gotten any response yet :( ..

but I'm so happy for everyone getting an interview and the people who got accepted! Like other people said, be prepared and know your stuff in depth , know why you want to be a CRNA and what the program stands for . Good Luck to everyone tomorrow :)

hear anything back yet?

I recieved my admission letter about a week ago. I was part of the first rounds of interviews. I was super excited.

Hello RNman,

How long did it take for you to be notified of acceptance? Did they email or call? Thanks a lot!

Just over a month.

The waiting game will be the worst part of this whole experience. Do things to keep your mind occupied. There is nothing else left for you to do.
