I started this thread for those who have applied for the 2021 start date. Has anyone heard anything after interviewing yet?

Is anyone looking to still take their organic Chemistry requirement? I didn’t have to take a whole year of general Chemistry so I only have one semester of it. I’m looking for online organic Chemistry classes at the moment...

I still need to take it. My acceptance was conditional upon me taking this requirement as well. I’m looking into Doane university. Their class is condensed into 8 weeks which I’m thinking might be too intense. If you find any good options I’d love to hear.

Yeah, it looks like KSU requires general chem 2 for it.. I'm trying to avoid taking additional classes so I can try to take some classes this Winter to offload some of the classes for when school starts haha.

Same here! I want to take those DePaul classes to knock out some of the DNP stuff ahead of time.

I interviewed that day too. The waiting is killing me. It seems like they are getting back to the people who interviewed in June now. Hopefully we will hear soon!

I think most of the acceptances sent out in years past happened last week and this week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The waiting does suck I definitely understand that. Even if you are waitlisted don't lose hope. I know two people who attend the program now that were both waitlisted. Also, one of those people told me that they were told most of the people waitlisted eventually get accepted, even if that wait is long (one of my friends got heard back in January) so it can still happen.

Thanks for that information! Yeah, honestly I just wanna know the status of my application. If I’m waitlisted that’s okay, I’d just be great to know where I stand ? but it seems most people waited some time and heard back. I guess I’ll just have to continue to wait until they send something out. CONGRATS again!

Well this feels like a gut punch! Uh, I guess I’ll just have to wait for an email saying “try again next year.” ?

For those waiting, I would not waste time feeling bad about myself over one school. As professionals we all make a commitment to a school once we are accepted. But we forget that schools are also making a commitment to us, by accepting you into their program the school is saying they believe in you and are confident in your potential for success. If one school is not willing to make that commitment, I have no problem looking at other schools. I have already applied to three other programs, I have no time to waste on one school's decision.
