i see that you are new to the allnurses website. we have the nursing student assistance forum (https://allnurses.com/forums/f205/) for you which has sticky threads with weblinks on it that will help you with these classes:
[*]for iv therapy, see: https://allnurses.com/forums/1458776-post6.html on any good iv therapy or nursing procedure web sites

im going to give you a very good tip... please don't take it in an offensive manner... i mean it w/ sincere respect...
just learn the formulas.. and how to do the calculations... gtt/rates and all that... if you find the formula that works for you then stick w/ it...
mine is.... find out how many cc's hr/ then multiply that times the drip factor of the tubing and divide by 60... it is really quite simple... so don't freak out about it.... for the most part you will be just doing it on paper.... wait till ya get in the field.. THAT is when you will really learn it... and even then.... there are only a handfull of fluids that you will have to calculate... like a heparin drip is one for example.... for the most part...pharmacy will do the work for ya.... just learn the formulas... study them... memorize them... and you will do fine....
trust me.... as a student.. your clinical coach is not gonna let you kill anyone by running an iv at the wrong rate.......
Thank you... if you come across anything that may help me let me know... thank you again...
