Hey, I considering going to be be a NP.. I looked at two schools in mind MUSC or USC. If you know something about those school let me know.. OR if you know of some better schools. Those are the things that are important to me 1.online classes 2. at least 2 years maybe even less 3. the cost.. thank you:nurse:

I am a Florence Darlington Technology College Nursing student LPN to RN. We do our clinical with FMU nurses.. When we are on the floor they do not know what to do? FMU nurses are more into book stuff there 3 year that when they take care of patients. See at FDTC we do clinical (patient ) at the begin. Alot of FMU student come to FDTC to get a better experiences. In the area FDTC nurse will get hired before a FMU nurse because we get more experience with patient care.. You tried USC-Aiken.. That where a lot of ADN nursing at FDTC or transition to for our BSN.

I attend FDTC Florence Darlington Technical College we don't have a waiting list ,but the new incoming class enrollment into the nursing program RN and LPN is being cut....MY class has about 100-125 RN coming out with the summer grads good luck...

I'm in RN program I can get my LPN after 3rd Semester. I just finish 3rd now into 4th semester and decided to take my LPN broads. I will be able to take my RN broads after August. Was this a good decision to take my LPN broads and get me some experience before taking my RN broads in August? What is the wait for the schedule of RN broads?

I KNOW right.... you are right this NCLEX is about to cause a massive case of MI for all nurses students...

Hey, everyone I have a drug calculation test on Monday...if anyone could help with this problem...The patient is ordered to have 2/3 strength Ensure at 80 ml/hr. Ensure comes in 8 oz. cans. How many ml of water will be added per can to make 2/3 strength? I'm just getting ready for the test. The answer is 120 mls. I just need to know how they arrived at that answers. thank you in advace.

Hey, I'm a MLT and a nursing student. The only bit of advice I give you is that there are alot of Phlebotomy schools and students and that may cause a problem finding a job so you can financial stable for nursing school. I go through ten to fiveteen applications for jobs as phlebotomy. But I can't hire them because the job demand for them is so slow in my area (Mrytle Beach area of SC). Being a Medical laboratory Tech is a good job you run the test and get more classes in anatomy and the pay is good. I know you will get a job in that field. Every hospital in the area needs MLTs. Being a MLT will give you a better understanding of the nursing process just a word of advice. wish you luck

how do i??? The main things is God and I want better for my family... I work full time and go to school full time.. I have been doing it for a year I will be finish in August 09 with my RN. The fact that I want better for my children and I want to be a nurse keeps me going. I eat, sleep, and drink nursing.. I'm the first person awake and the last person to go to sleep in my home. I just make a schedule and stick to it. As far as school anything that is written or type I complete that first because you tend to forget about written work and concentrate on studying. I study at an opportunity I get work, dance practice, or son football practice. The main thing is I pray and make time for me. Good Luck... :heartbeat

Hey, I'm a nursing student class of 09, in the next 5 yrs I plan to have my Master be a Adult Nurse Practitioner and also work in public health. I also want to have a house build and have another child. Most important of them all enjoy my wife and children.:heartbeat In the next 10 yrs have a good relationship with the community and be planning for my retirement.:clpty:

Hey, I have Critical Care and IV therapy this Spring of 09. I'm very nervous about those classes alot of students fail this is my 4th semester one more semester and I will be finish RN.
