Creighton University ABSN Spring 2018

Hey guys! I just applied to the Phoenix campus for the January 2018 start program. I'm so nervous! Has anyone else applied or been accepted? My advisor told me a couple weeks ago that there are only 12 seats left!

I'm just in a tough situation now because they found another transcript from this school that I attended two years ago but never finished. I dropped the classes too late and still owe tuition for it (it's a community college). All of the classes have W's on them so I don't see the point in paying $500 just for Creighton to get the useless transcript. None of the classes will transfer anyways. I'm waiting to see if they will waive the transcript. I should find out by Friday. Is anyone else having issues in the application process?

I am not having problems with the application but I was also accepted for the Spring 2018 term in Arizona. Are you moving from far or know of any places to live?

Hi all. I was accepted to the Phoenix Campus for the Fall 2018 semester. I chose the later start date as I am still waiting on a few other admissions decisions to roll in, and I will me moving from Texas wherever I choose to go. It was a fairly quick application process for me. It took about a month to receive a decision from Creighton.

What were your stats? Like GPA and everything?

I had a 3.7 GPA.

I applied for the Fall 2019 ASBSN. A couple questions: How did they notify you of your admissions status/decision? Second, how is the program going? I applied to the Omaha campus but indicated that I was open to any campus. Would love an update from you folks.

I was accepted into the Fall 2018 program as well. I am from Kansas City, but live in Omaha now. A friend from high school who is a nurse educator at KU Med Center says all the Creighton nurses she has seen have been top notch. I know it will be intense, but I have support at home, and my kids are older, they will be 18, 14, and 12. Someone asked about gpa, I have a 3.7. I am really excited to meet future friends in the class, learn new things, and dive into clinicals. I am finishing my CNA this week and hope to get a little experience before school starts.

I am so nervous! I find out my decision late next month but seeing that everyone had a 3.7 GPA, it makes me doubtful because my last 60-units was a 3.2 GPA and my science GPA is 3.4 :(

I did get an email on Monday following the Friday partial update to my portal. I will be in the Fall 2018 Omaha Cohort as well.

I took my CNA last week and hope to start working at hospital as well.
