  1. Intensives aren't bad...3 week is all classroom and 2 week is online. Its the 8 week classes that are intense!
  2. that's really all I can say as each group is different and I am in Omaha. You will have classes but those change all the time and are during the day so you can at least plan that. Take care
  3. once clinicals start you will know schedule about 2 weeks prior as you get divided into groups and some have different days than others including maybe a Saturday. Some eventually will have clinicals that start late and end late too.
  4. our schedule was mon exams only 0900 tues 9-1300 wed 10-1650 thurs 1300-1550 fri 1000-1650 however, we often had to come in at 0800 or stay until 1700 for group rotations that was fall 2018 cohort so things always change and those with kids had to often scramble
  5. I am graduating from Omaha campus in August...if anyone needs scrubs size xs-xxs hit me up...Will sell you everything for 1/2 the cost. I have 3 tops (xs) and 2 bottoms (xxl) scrub jacket XS and navy short sleeve polo XS. FYI they run big. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs. Good luck to you all...its a crazy year but worth it!
  6. Kelina, I am in Omaha about to start preceptorship but I can tell you during first 8 weeks with Path/Pharm and health assessment there are no real clinical days. You do some community (aka school assessments) but plan to be in class Mon-Fri during the day and studying your butt off. No time for a job in this program. Full time student for 1 year. You will get a rough schedule in orientation but it will change with no notice as you go forward based on clinical sites and your assignment. I had OB rotations on Saturdays but not everyone did. It's worth it but definitely immersion for the year. Good luck!
  7. Do they have an OR/perioperative discipline for this residency?
  8. Chelsea...I never found you. Look me up and send request. Kendra Willsey Cendana
  9. Chelsea...A couple different names came up for you. I am fall 2018 Omaha too. Look me up: Kendra Willsey Cendana
  10. I don't have the specific calendar, but I do know that August 20th is the first day of classes with Orientation on the 16th and 17th. We do follow the CreightonU Academic schedule for holidays, etc. When I have the specific calendar, I will make sure to share.
  11. Where are you in Nor Cal? I am in Sac and got in to Omaha for fall as well. They respond really quick. That evening I had a change in my application and the 3 classes I have in process when "pending-post admit" then on Monday I received everything by email. Good luck! I was going to apply to other programs but this was tied for my first choice for a couple reasons and when I got in I just accepted. I hadn't seen that Phoenix was less expensive but I know that Omaha is less expensive cost of living so maybe that balances it.
  12. Look me up Kendra Cendana...I prob sent to wrong person
  13. I am from Roseville near Sac. I just sent you friend request. I am getting a studio by campus. My husband will come out to visit.
  14. I am in the Fall 2018 cohort. From California.
  15. will start a fall 18 cohort thread
